Life Teen – High School Teens
The EDGE - Middle School (Grades 6-8)
Mary Maguire, Youth Minister
Through the Life Teen ministry of our parish, teens are given opportunities to grow in their faith. They will discover the hope of Jesus in themselves and each other. We bring faith, hope and love to teens in a way that speaks directly to them and what they are experiencing in their own world. For some, it has kept them on their walk with Christ; for others, it has been a profound experience, and it has helped them discern God's call. With their hunger for truth, their need to experience God's love and their yearning for acceptance, these opportunities for spiritual growth and discovery are essential in ministering to today's youth. We welcome all high school teens to our Life Teen ministry.

The ROCK ("Religious Outreach to Catholic Kids") is a unique faith formation ministry of St. Joseph Marello Parish. Children learn our Catholic faith in a fun and gentle environment. Love and knowledge of our faith is shared with the children who are taught through methods they can truly enjoy. We use a hands-on approach, including music, stories, crafts, skits and games to teach the lessons. We share the Gospel, prayer and Catholic traditions, and we encourage Catholic community awareness, including knowledge of other Catholic kids. Parents, it's time for you to consider the level of your own involvement. Volunteer to assist at the the ROCK. Prepare to secure your child's position in our ministry.
